Terms of Service for Participating Organizations and Projects
As an organization choosing to participate and collaborate as a benefitting partner in Saint Vincent College Crowdfunding requires that you agree with the following Terms of Service which sets forth the services and duties provided by Saint Vincent College Crowdfunding and roles and responsibilities of all participants.
1. I confirm that my organization is affiliated with Saint Vincent College and has an approved fund/gift account that can receive donations.
2. I understand that crowdfunding cannot be used for covering tuition, fees charged on student accounts, or any expenses eligible for financial aid.
3. I understand that my organization or gift designation will receive all the monies that have been donated to my organization minus any transaction fees not covered by the individual donor. GiveGab retains a 3.5% campaign management fee from all donations. Credit Card processing fees are an additional 2.5% + $0.30 for all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). ACH processing fees are an additional $3.00 flat fee
4. I understand that GiveGab.com is an online platform which will safely process all contributions made to crowdfunding campaigns and projects.
5. I understand that my organization must play an active role in providing content and images for the project page, as well as any social media and communication efforts (if applicable), with support from the Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations.
6. I understand that my project will be reviewed and may not be eligible for crowdfunding.
*Your project must be approved before fundraising can start. Your project will be reviewed and a status update will be issued within a week.
